A Pine River, Manitoba man is in custody on charges stemming from a hit-and-run incident near that community.
Shortly before 2:30 on Mar. 30 Dauphin RCMP were called to the scene of a vehicle-pedestrian collision on the 500-block of Second Avenue.
At the scene, Mounties found a badly-injured 36-year-old man, who was taken to hospital in Winnipeg, where at last report, he remained in critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle left the scene, and a suspect was located and arrested a few hours later.
46-year-old Paul Davies Pratt faces three charges, including impaired driving causing bodily harm.
