A new court date has been set for one of three people, arrested in connection with an aggravated assault on the Wuskwi Sipihk First Nation.
In the early morning hours of October 2, Swan River RCMP were notified of a possible assault at a property on the reserve.
They located a 53-year-old man, who had been seriously assaulted, and he was taken to a Winnipeg hospital in critical condition.
18-year-old Zakari Kematch of Swan River, was in Swan River Provincial Court yesterday (Wed), where he was remanded in custody to May 6.
