PREECEVILLE — The Preeceville Skating Arena and Minor Hockey said farewell for the season with a fun family skate and paint the ice afternoon on March 22.
Public skating and shinny were held the last week of March 22, prior to the artificial ice plant being unplugged and the ice coming off.
The five minor hockey teams had a busy and fun season. The U7 team played numerous games and tournaments that helped to build skills and techniques. The U9 team played nine games in the regular season, ending its season with no wins recorded. The U11 team played eight games and placed fourth in the league in regular-season play. They recorded one win, and the Preeceville U13 team did not fare well this season either, with no recorded wins in regular-season play.
