A woman arrested in connection with a death on the Waywayseecappo First Nation, has admitted her guilt.
27-year-old Talisa Brandon of Waywayseecappo was in Brandon Court of King’s Bench Thursday, where she pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
A pre-sentence report has been ordered, and she will return to court on May 11.
In July of 2023, Manitoba First Nation Police Service members were called to a home on the reserve, where they found a seriously injured 23-year-old man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
