A new court date has been set for a Brandon man, arrested following a routine traffic stop near Russell, that resulted in drug charges.
In December of 2024, Mounties pulled over a vehicle on Highway 16, and learned that the driver didn’t have a valid driver’s licence.
A 50-year-old man was asked to switch spots with the driver, and that’s when police noticed drugs in plain view.
35-year-old Kacey Packham was in Brandon Provincial Court yesterday (Thu), where he was remanded in custody to next Thursday.
