The RCMP are warning there is a dangerous strain of fentanyl circulating in Southern Saskatchewan, particularly in the Swift Current and Moose Jaw areas.  The biggest concern is this strain could be resistant to but may be resistant to naloxone, a fast-acting drug used to temporarily reverse the effects of overdoses caused by opioids.
