Okay, hear me out!
A girl breaks up with her boyfriend to move to the big city of Austin, Texas. She enjoys the city with it’s beautiful scenery, gets a job, and makes some new friends. Maybe she starts dating someone new too.
A year passes…She accidentally calls the old boyfriends number but doesn’t realize it at first until she hears the message. (It’s movie logic, stay with me.) She’s curious, she wonders what he’s up to, it has been a year after all, then she hears it, “PS if this is Austin, I still love you.” She drops the phone. Shocked.
She flips back and forth deciding whether or not to call him back. This goes on for a bit.
Then has a heart to heart with her friends, where they steer her in the right direction, especially since they don’t like the guy she’s currently dating anyways.
She calls the old boyfriend again. They reunite. Fade to black. Roll credits.
It probably wouldn’t be a blockbuster, but it has the potential to definitely be a Hallmark movie. I’d watch that movie.
