New court date for accused in murder on Sandy Bay Ojibway F.N.

A Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation woman, wanted in connection with a death on the reserve this summer, has made another court appearance.

On June 29th, the Manitoba First Nation Police Service were called to a home on the reserve, to a report of an injured female, and upon arrival, they found the body of a 24-year-old woman.

The victim’s name has not been released.

26-year-old Fantasia Prince is charged with Second Degree Murder, and remains in custody, with her next appearance set for September 29th, in Winnipeg.
