A Surrey, B.C. man charged after a surprising discovery in a package at the Grace Lake Airport on August 25th, has made his first court appearance.

The investigation continues, but RCMP in The Pas say that the package was dropped off at the airport, destined for Pukatawagan, and when it was inspected by airport employees, they found about 14-hundred prescription pills and 770 grams of cannabis inside.

36-year-old Michael Rushnell made his first appearance in The Pas Court on Friday, and he’ll appear again on October 20th.
