The Pas RCMP have made an arrest, in connection with an alleged stabbing incident.

At about 7:00 Tuesday night, Mounties were notified by staff at the local hospital, that a stabbing victim was being treated.

Police went to the hospital and spoke to the victim, a 40-year-old woman, who said she had been stabbed by a man known to her, resulting in non-life-threatening injuries.

A 37-year-old man was later taken into custody, and he will make his first appearance in The Pas Court today (THURS), on charges including Assault with a Weapon and Assault Causing Bodily Harm.
