A Kawacatoose First Nation man charged with Second Degree Murder, in connection with a death on the reserve, remains in custody, after appearing in court again.

In November of 2021, Punnichy RCMP responded to a report of an injured male at a Kawacatoose home.

Thomas Dustyhorn was taken to hospital in Saskatoon, where he later died of his injuries.

34-year-old Eric Favel will stand trial by jury next April in Regina Court of King’s Bench, but his next court appearance there will be on January 18th.
