On October 26th, at noon, Ste Rose RCMP responded to a stolen truck report at the Ebb and Flow First Nation.

With assistance, the officers were able to locate the stolen vehicle on Provincial Road 278.

However, the truck failed to stop and due to safety concerns, a pursuit was not initiated.

The officers located the driver on Road 115 North in the RM of Alonsa.

The suspect was identified as a 26-year-old male from Sandy Bay who was wanted on several firearm-related offences.

The driver was treated by EMS on scene for hypothermia and taken into police custody.
