Dauphin RCMP are asking for the public’s help in solving a robbery at a city business last week.

Around noon last Tuesday, Mounties say a masked male, wearing a black jacket and carrying a black bag, entered the business on First Avenue Northeast, and asked for help in finding items to purchase, but instead of paying for them, he simply picked up the items and walked out of the store.

An employee chased the suspect, but was assaulted outside the building, with a knife pulled on him.

The suspect fled on a red-colured mountain bike.
