A new court date has been set for a Punnichy man, arrested and charged with Robbery and Flight From Police.

39-year-old Michael McNab was in Regina Friday, where he was remanded in custody to this Friday, November 17th.

It all started on the afternoon of October 30th, when Mounties received a report of a vehicle theft in Punnichy.

They located the vehicle and tried to stop it, but the driver got away.

Then on that night, police received a report about the discharge of a firearm and a vehicle theft on the George Gordon First Nation.  

The stolen vehicle was located the next morning, and after another chase, the driver was finally arrested.
