The Yorkton Chamber of Commerce announced its 2024 Board composition after a recent election with seven nominees for eight positions. Returning members Annelle Bodnarik, Bob Knox, Mike Stackhouse, and Stephanie Buckle were joined by newcomers Ajay Tadi, Geoff Brand, and Mary Carvalho, all elected by acclamation. Paul Hoffman was appointed to fill the remaining vacancy.

The term for the eight directors begins on January 1, 2024.

Executive Director Juanita Polegi expressed confidence in the Board’s mix of seasoned and new members, anticipating strong leadership for the local business community. Polegi reiterated the Chamber’s commitment to conveying business concerns to all levels of government.

Elections are held annually in November, and new Board members, along with those in their second year, will officially assume their roles in January.
