New court date for man charged after drug seizure at Grace Lake Airport

A man facing drug charges, stemming from the discovery of a package containing illicit drugs at the Grace Lake Airport, has made another court appearance.

The package was dropped off at the airport on August 25th, destined for Pukatawagan.

When airport workers inspected it, they found about 14-hundred prescription pills and 770 grams of cannabis inside.

Several drug charges have been laid against 36-year-old Michael Rushnell, of Surrey, B.C., and he appeared in The Pas on Friday, with his next court date set for December 15th.
