Calder Man Appears in Court On Second Degree Murder Charge

Another court appearance has been made by a Calder man, arrested in connection with a death in that area.

48-year-old Curtis Sokoloski was in Yorkton today (Mon), where he was remanded in custody to January 15th.

On June 18th, Mounties were called to a home in the Calder district, to conduct a wellness check on 61-year-old Bentley Baumung, and he was found dead.

The next day, Sokoloski was arrested in Russell, and charged with Second Degree Murder and Committing an Indignity to a Body.
