An update in the case of a Punnichy-district woman charged in relation to a homicide in Regina in the fall of 2021.

24-year-old Hope Cyr was charged with Second Degree Murder, in connection with the October 13, 2021 death of 24-year-old Peri Redwood in Regina.

However, on November 20th, the murder charge against Cyr was stayed by the Crown Prosecutor.

Cyr remains in custody on unrelated charges.
