A man charged with the alleged abduction of his seven-year-old daughter was back in Regina Court of King’s Bench Friday.

54-year-old Michael Gordon Jackson, of the Carievale district, will return to court on April 8th, for his trial by jury.

In January of 2022, Saskatchewan RCMP issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant for Jackson, after he was charged with Abduction in Contravention of a Custody or Parenting Order.

Jackson and his daughter were located by police in Vernon, B.C., over a month later.
