The newest additions to the Royal Canadian Legion General Alexander Ross #77 Branch “Honour Our Veterans” banner program were unveiled Sunday in Yorkton.
Yorkton Legion President Brittany Johnson says its the sixth year for the banner program in Yorkton, and it continues to grow, with 36 names added this year.
Johnson adds the Yorkton Tribal Council continues to be a strong supporter of the program, with Tribal Chief Isabel O’Soup noting it’s important that the stories of Canada’s First Nations veterans continue to be told.
