This week we officially kicked off the holiday season with a visit to the Legacy Co-op Wonders of Winter by the Yorkton Lions Club at the Yorkton City Campgrounds. If you’re looking for something festive to do, it’s open nightly from 5pm–10pm all the way until January 5th—plenty of time to take in the magic.
We were set up at the entrance handing out treats as people rolled in to check out the displays, and with all the fresh snow we picked up this week, everything glistened like a true winter wonderland. There’s just something about Christmas lights reflecting off new snow that makes the season feel real.
If you’re planning to head out, you can grab your advance vehicle passes at Legacy Co-op for $15, or pick one up at the gate for $20. And don’t forget about the fun contest they’ve got going on—keep your eyes peeled for the elves hidden throughout the displays for your chance to win.
I also shot a video while we were out there… and yes, I sped it up, so buckle up! It’s a fun way to see just how much there is to take in.
If you’re looking for a little holiday spirit, Legacy Co-op Wonders of Winter by the Yorkton Lions Club is the perfect place to find it. Enjoy the lights, the snow, and the season!
