About a week ago, something pretty cool showed up in the studio here at GX94…a real-life time capsule! Sitting on top was a label that read: “Sealed on December 23, 1999. To be opened December 23, 2025.” Instantly, everyone was buzzing. Was it real? What’s inside? Well, our boss confirmed it’s the real deal, he was actually there when it was sealed! But here’s the thing, he absolutely refuses to tell us about anything that’s in it. The suspense is killing me!
Now, I know some of you might be thinking, “Come on, 1999 wasn’t THAT long ago.” But…I wasn’t even born yet! Yep, 26 years ago, I was still floating around in the womb, with four months to go before my grand entrance. So, since I don’t have any firsthand memories of the year, I decided to do a little Googling to see what the world was like back then. And wow, did I find some fun stuff!

It’s wild to think about how much has changed since then, and it makes me even more curious about what’s hidden inside that time capsule. Maybe there’s old concert tickets, a Y2K survival manual, or even some snacks (though I’m not sure I’d want to try them after 26 years!).
