Drug charges have been laid against a B.C. man, following a bust on the Number One Highway last week.
Just before 3 p.m. on Dec. 12, Indian Head RCMP were conducting patrols, along the Trans-Canada, west of Indian Head, when they stopped to assist Saskatchewan Highway Patrol officers that had stopped a semi unit.
Upon searching the trailer, officers discovered and seized about 111 kilograms of illegal cannabis along with approximately 874 grams of cocaine.
49-year-old Krenar Guci, of Port Coquitlam, B.C., was charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, and possession for the purpose of distributing, under the Cannabis Act.
Guci is scheduled to make his first appearance in Indian Head Provincial Court on March 17.
