Norquay Helping Hands has received a $1,000 boost from the sales of the GX94 Christmas Goodies Cookbook.
Reagan Foster, with Norquay Helping Hands, says donations like this are much-needed and appreciated.
The money will go toward food and gift certificates for Christmas hampers, as well as gifts for children of families that have applied for the hampers.
Foster says that with the rising cost of living, applications for hampers have risen in 2025, increasing from one to two per month, to five to eight each month.
She notes that, they’ve also provided six emergency hampers over the course of the year, and so far, 24 Christmas hampers have been put together for families.
Since 2022, $4,000 have been donated to Norquay Helping Hands through the sale of the GX94 Christmas Goodies Cookbooks at the Norquay Co-op.
