Norquay Helping Hands
For the past 4 years I have made the trip to Norquay to sell the GX94 Christmas Goodies cookbook and then back again to donate money back into the community. Each year I get to message Reagan Foster with Norquay Helping Hands, saying we are making a $1,000.00 donation once again. Dana Nystedt accepted the cheque on behalf of Foster and Norquay Helping Hands this year. Our first donation in Norquay went out in 2016, and after 5 years of donating, our total is $4,500.00.
For the past 4 years we have partnered with the Norquay Co-op Gas Bar, Home & Agro Centre for the GX94 Christmas Goodies cookbook season. They have sponsored the cookbook and have had us at their store to sell it. Norquay and area always comes out and supports the cookbook, with one young woman coming each year to buy 10 cookbooks on behalf of her Grandmother who than gives the books to all of her grandchildren at Christmas.
