A new court date has been set for a Swan River man, arrested in connection with a report of shots fired outside a residence on the Sapotaweyak Cree Nation.
On December 8, Mounties were called to a home, and were advised by a female occupant that a man, known to her, had tried to force his way into the residence.
The suspect then shot out the surveillance cameras, cut the cord to disable the home’s internet, and fled the scene.
34-year-old Joshua Stevens faces numerous charges, and in Swan River Provincial Court yesterday (Wed), he was remanded in custody to February 18.
