A new court date has been set for a man, arrested in connection with a break and enter at a restaurant in Dauphin.
On New Year’s Day, Dauphin RCMP learned that a man entered the restaurant overnight through the drive-thru window, and stole donation boxes containing cash.
Mounties were able to identify the suspect after viewing video surveillance footage.
42-year-old Leroy Parenteau of Gilbert Plains appeared in Dauphin Provincial Court yesterday (Thu).
He was denied bail, and remanded in custody to January 27.
