THE PAS – The Pas RCMP are investigating a fatal single-vehicle rollover east of Highway 10.
Police say officers were called at about 4:35 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 12, to a report of a rollover on Highway 60, roughly 40 kilometres east of Highway 10.
Investigators determined a westbound semi-trailer left the roadway, rolled and came to rest in the tree line off the highway.
The driver, a 50-year-old man from Winnipeg, was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police say no other injuries were reported.
The Pas RCMP continue to investigate with assistance from a forensic collision reconstructionist.
