The Yorkton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has chosen Doug Forster as its new president.
Forster, who is in his third term as a Chamber Director, was elected as president for 2026 at the Chamber’s Jan. 21 board meeting.
In a release, he says he looks forward to a busy year for the Chamber, which represents more than 430 members, citing April’s Celebrate Success Business Dinner, and several advocacy efforts to be undertaken throughout 2026.
Joining Forster on the Chamber executive will be Past President Sunil Shah, Stephanie Buckle as Chair of both the Events and Marketing and Communications Committees, Bob Knox as Chair of the Business Development Committee, and Mike Stackhouse as Vice President and Chair of the Policy Committee.
The Yorkton Chamber is marking 128 years in 2026.
