I’d say we’ve done pretty good when it comes to temperatures so far this winter. For the most part, we’ve been pretty lucky. Yes, we’ve had a few storms roll through, but temperature-wise, it really hasn’t been all that bad.
Now that we’re on the back end of January, winter is finally reminding us who’s in charge. Over the next few days, we’re going to get some true January weather — the kind that hurts your face the second you step outside. With temperatures dipping into the minus 30’s and windchills pushing into the minus 40’s, there’s no denying it’s going to be cold.
This is the stretch where you really have to be prepared. Bundle up, limit your time outdoors if you can, and don’t forget to plug in the vehicle — because we all know how unforgiving these temperatures can be. It’s not the time to test your luck.
Stay safe out there, take it slow, and remember… warmer days are coming. They always do.
