Dylan Ruff scored 3:19 into overtime to lift the Swan Valley Stampeders to their third straight victory, edging the Winnipeg Monarchs 3–2.
Ryder Woods and Ben Groome also found the back of the net for Swan Valley, while Andre Cho and Idris Alameddine provided the scoring for Winnipeg. Stampeders goaltender Easton Falls earned the win, turning aside 24 of 26 shots.
The two teams will meet once again on Sunday in Winnipeg, with puck drop scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
