A new court date has been set for a Crane River First Nation man, arrested in connection with a firearm discharge.
On November 1, Ste. Rose RCMP received a report that a man had fired a weapon at a residence on the reserve, then fired another shot in the general direction of one of the home’s residents, before running away.
The suspect was later arrested with the help of a police drone.
24-year-old Ashton McDonald was in Dauphin Provincial Court yesterday (Tue), where he was remanded in custody to March 12.
