A new court date has been set for a Binscarth woman, arrested in connection with a death in that community.
53-year-old Sheila Mills was in Russell Provincial Court yesterday (Wed), charged with manslaughter, where she was remanded in custody to April 30, for a bail hearing in Brandon.
Last November, Russell RCMP were called to a home in Binscarth, over a concern about an unresponsive female.
They found a 53-year-old woman with a life-threatening injury, but she was pronounced dead a short time later.
The police investigation determined that two women, who were known to each other, were involved in a dispute, that led to the victim being stabbed.
