Another court appearance has been made by one of three people, arrested in connection with an aggravated assault on the Wuskwi Sipihk First Nation.
18-year-old Zakari Kematch of Swan River, was in Swan River Provincial Court yesterday (Wed), where he was remanded in custody to July 22.
In the early morning hours of October 2, Swan River RCMP were notified of a possible assault at a property on the reserve.
They located a 53-year-old man, who had been seriously assaulted, and he was taken to a Winnipeg hospital in critical condition.
