A 53-year-old Ste. Rose du Lac man is dead, following a motorcycle accident near that community.
Ste. Rose RCMP were called to the scene about midnight on May 11, on Highway 276 and Road 141 West, just north of Ste. Rose du Lac.
The investigation continues, it is believed that the driver was travelling south on his bike, then left the road on the wrong side, shortly after a curve in the highway.
Mounties found the bike and the driver in the east ditch, with efforts to revive the man unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
