Another court appearance has been made by one of two men, arrested following a machete attack on the Sapotaweyak Cree Nation.
Police say on June 19, a man was walking on a road, when two suspects arrived on an ATV.
One man allegedly chased and struck the victim with a machete, while the other attempted to run him over with the vehicle.
The victim escaped, and was taken to hospital with injuries.
Both suspects were later arrested, and a machete was recovered.
19-year-old Enriquo Bourassa faces charges of aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
In Dauphin Provincial Court yesterday (Thu), he was remanded in custody to July 14.
