It feels like I was just looking ahead to summer, and now my calendar is filling up fast. After taking a look at everything that’s coming up over the next few weeks, it’s safe to say this is going to be one busy summer!
It’s hard to believe the Yorkton Exhibition Summer Fair is already here next week. It always seems to sneak up, but it’s one of those events that really signals summer is in full swing.
Next Friday is another event I’ve been looking forward to—our GX94 Backyard Concert with Josh Stumpf. It’s always a great evening of music, fun, and visiting with listeners, and I can’t wait.
I also have two weeks of holidays booked to kick off July, which I’m really looking forward to. It’ll be a chance to relax, recharge, and hopefully enjoy some great summer weather before jumping right back into a busy schedule.
Once I’m back, it’s off to the Saskatoon area for Ag in Motion. We’ll be there Tuesday through Thursday, and after wrapping up on Thursday I’ll be making the drive from Langham all the way to Swan River for the Northwest Roundup & Exhibition. Before I know it, we’ll be staring at the end of July.
And that’s really just the tip of the iceberg. There are so many community events, fairs, concerts, and gatherings happening throughout the summer that there’s truly no shortage of things to see and do.
I hope you get a chance to enjoy everything summer has to offer, whether that’s attending an event, taking a road trip, or simply spending time with family and friends. Have an excellent summer—I know I’m looking forward to all the adventures ahead. It’s shaping up to be a busy one!
