Melville’s Keaton Kreklewich is bringing home a provincial championship after capturing the under-15 boys’ title at the Saskatchewan Junior Golf Championships in Warman. Kreklewich closed with an even-par 72 on Thursday to finish six shots ahead of Regina’s Jun Lee, while Swift Current’s Jace Munro claimed third.
In the junior men’s championship, Ryan Mosher capped off a dominant week by firing a tournament-low 7-under par 65 to claim his second Saskatchewan junior men’s title. The Saskatoon golfer finished at 14-under par, 10 shots clear of Warman’s Dane Giesbrecht, with Prince Albert’s Wyatt Nelson placing third.
North Battleford’s Shae Maunula claimed the under-17 boys’ championship with a final-round 3-under 69. His three-day total of 211 also earned him second overall in the junior boys’ championship. Pilot Butte’s Austin Nesbitt and Saskatoon’s Lucas Sturgeon tied for second in the under-17 division.
In the under-13 boys’ division, Regina’s Hudson Deibert successfully defended his provincial title after shooting a final-round 74 to defeat Saskatoon’s Cohen Bridge by four shots. Declan Kozakavich and Jackson Orr tied for third.
On the girls’ side, Grace Odnokon successfully defended both the under-19 and under-17 provincial championships after closing with a 2-under par 70. She finished six shots ahead of Kyle’s Chloe Wills, while Warman’s Tina Liu placed third in the under-19 division and second in the under-17 category.
North Battleford’s Natalie Maunula completed a wire-to-wire victory in the under-15 girls’ division, finishing seven shots ahead of Wynyard’s Alyxa Melsted, with Saskatoon’s Clara Zhang rounding out the top three.
