Two men, arrested in connection with a shooting death on the Keeseekoowenin First Nation, were back in court on July 21.
52-year-old Frank La Forge and 31-year-old Darion Burns appeared in Minnedosa Provincial Court, charged with first degree murder and attempted murder.
They were remanded in custody to Apr. 5, 2027, in Minnedosa.
Last July, RCMP were called to a home on the reserve, where a 33-year-old woman, and a 26-year-old man, had been shot.
The woman died, while the man was seriously injured.
