New court dates have been set for two people charged following an investigation that led to the seizure of drugs, firearms, and other illegal items.
In Minnedosa Provincial Court on July 21, 42-year-old Benjamin Bone of the Keeseekoowenin First Nation, was remanded in custody to appear in Minnedosa again on Aug. 18, while 37-year-old Kodi Boynton of Shoal Lake, remains in custody, with his next court date set for July 30 in Brandon..
On May 27, RCMP launched an investigation, following a series of break and enters near Shoal Lake, in which firearms were stolen from rural properties.
Last month, officers executed a warrant at a home in Shoal Lake, nabbing multiple firearms, ammunition, methamphetamine, illegal marijuana and cigarettes, drug paraphernalia and cash.
