Two Dauphin men accused of weapons trafficking, have appeared in court again.
On March 23, United States Customs and Border Protection made Manitoba RCMP aware that a 73-year-old man had been charged, after a handgun was stolen from a Minnesota gun show, two days prior.
On April 15, Mounties executed a search warrant at a home in the RM of Dauphin, which they say turned up six improperly stored handguns, several of which were loaded, with at least two identified as having been stolen from the U.S.
Then on July 7, police searched the home of a 78-year-old Dauphin man, and seized 439 firearms, an antique cannon, ammunition, and over 300-thousand dollars in cash.
73-year-old Wilfred Kachurowski, and 78-year-old Inky Mark, were in Dauphin Provincial Court yesterday (Tue), where they had their matters adjourned to September 8.
