The Melville Millionaires have been busy reshaping their roster with the 2026-27 SJHL regular season just around the corner.
The Millionaires have made three moves involving a trio of 2007-born players.
Melville has sent forward Alex Morrison to the Yorkton Terriers in exchange for a 2027 third-round draft pick and a Player Development Fee.
Morrison spent the past four seasons with the Millionaires after joining the organization as a 16-year-old. The Saltcoats product appeared in 36 games with Melville last season, recording two goals and two assists for four points. He also had a pair of assists in six playoff games against Yorkton.
The Millionaires also added some help on the blue line, acquiring 2007-born defenceman Nathan Pratt-Vallier from the Ottawa Jr. Senators.
Pratt-Vallier, a right-shot defenceman from Kingston, Ontario, played 38 games with Ottawa in the CCHL last season, finishing with one goal and six assists for seven points, along with eight penalty minutes. He stands six-foot and weighs 174 pounds.
The addition gives Melville another young right-handed option on defence as the club continues to finalize its roster.
The Millionaires have also dealt defenceman Sam Laplante to the Northern Manitoba Blizzard of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.
