Swan River product Trace Langan scored a hat trick and MJHL scoring leader Dylan Ruff added four assists as the Swan Valley Stampeders rolled to a 6-2 win over the Dauphin Kings Friday night for their third straight victory.
Jake Giacobbo chipped in with a goal and three assists, while Nathan Hayes and Ben Groome also found the net for the Stampeders, who took full advantage of their power-play opportunities, going four-for-five with the man advantage.
Collin Friedrich and Brody Green replied for Dauphin, which remains winless through its first three games of the season.
Joe Naccarato stopped 33 of 35 shots to earn his first career MJHL victory.
The Stampeders and Kings will meet again Saturday night in Swan River.
Elsewhere in the MJHL, Steinbach blanked Neepawa 5-0, while the Winnipeg Freeze edged Selkirk 2-1 in overtime.
Virden defeated Niverville 3-2, Winkler topped the Winnipeg Monarchs 5-3, and Portage cruised past Northern Manitoba 7-2.
