Swan Valley Stampeders forward Trace Langan is one of three Manitoba Junior Hockey League Stars of the Week after another strong offensive performance.
The 2008-born forward recorded four goals and two assists for six points in two games last week.
Langan opened the week with a hat trick and an assist in a road win over the Dauphin Kings before scoring again in the rematch. He now has five goals and four assists for nine points through four games this season.
Langan has been a key contributor on Swan Valley’s top line, which continues to produce at a high level early in the season.
Virden Oil Capitals forward Tyson Draper also earned Star of the Week honours after posting two goals and four assists in a pair of wins over Niverville and Steinbach.
Northern Manitoba Blizzard forward Kade Stringer rounded out the weekly selections with four goals and three assists in two games. His week included two power-play goals and two assists in a 6-3 win over Waywayseecappo.
