Bryson Yaschyshyn continues to be a tough matchup for the Swan Valley Stampeders.
The Dauphin Kings goaltender turned aside 41 of 42 shots Tuesday night, backstopping his team to a 2-1 win over the Stampeders in Swan River.
Yaschyshyn also made 56 saves in a victory over Swan Valley earlier this season.
Former Stampeder Bennett Muller opened the scoring for Dauphin in the first period, while Quinton Fisk added what proved to be the game-winner in the second to give the Kings a 2-0 lead. Ben Groome got Swan Valley on the board late in the first, but the Stamps couldn’t find the equalizer.
Easton Falls made 17 saves on 19 shots in the loss.
Swan Valley returns to the ice Saturday when it visits the Neepawa Titans.
