Dauphin man appears in court on break and enter and resisting arrest charges

Another court appearance has been made by a Dauphin man, arrested in connection with a residential break and enter in the city.

21-year-old Jacob Vermeylen was in Dauphin Provincial Court yesterday (Tue), where he had his matters set over to November 24.

In January, Dauphin RCMP responded to a break and enter in progress, at a home on 5th Avenue Northwest.

When the suspect was spotted leaving the residence, it’s alleged he resisted arrest, and assaulted a police officer.
