Ottawa Looks To Ban Single-Use Plastics

The federal government is looking to ban single use plastic products, such as straws, water bottles and food wrap. An announcement is expected today , with the aim to ban such items in 2021. Ottawa says single use plastics are ending up in landfills, waterways and oceans every year, causing ecological problems.
